We also celebrated Marielos' doctorate degree at a dinner with Victor and Maria shown in the photo above. Both Victor and Maria are retired professors from the University of Costa Rica. Marielos just returned to her professorship at the University of Costa Rica with her brand new doctorate degree! In November, 2004, on our way to Chile we made a stopover in Costa Rica and had the opportunity to attend the First Communion of Marielos' niece, Maria Jose, shown in the photo below, along with her mother, Roxana.
