In November, 2002, we visited Costa Rica for our fourth time. In the photo above, Betty and our Costa Rican friends, Victor and María, are in a new nature park of butterflies, hummingbirds, and beautiful waterfalls. During part of our visit we stayed in their lovely new home and they took us to several new and interesting places. In the photo below Betty is standing next to a plant that is sometimes called the "poor man's umbrella".
