In the photo above is Piccadilly Circus in London. It is reported that the first illuminated advertising sign appeared in Piccadilly Circus in 1890 to capture a new imagination. In the photo below we visited Windsor Castle just west of London on the banks of the Thames. It has been the residence of English kings and queens since the Norman Conquest.
