We traveled up to Greenwich north of London to visit the Prime Meridian so we could stand in both the Eastern and Western Hemispheres at the same time! In the photo above you can see we were at Longitude 0' 00' 00. In the photo below Betty is standing on the Prime Meridian. We visited the Greenwich Observatory which has a fine display of time-keeping equipment. Thirteen years later we stood in both the Northern and Southern Hemispheres on the Equator in Ecuador.
