A short distance southwest of Berlin is Potsdam where Betty is standing in the photo above. This place is known worldwide because it was the place of the World War II Allies famous Potsdam Conference held in August, 1945. The actual site of the conference was the Schloss Cecilienhof shown in the photo below.
