In the photo above Betty is standing on top of the Pyramid of the Sun after climbing 248 steps! The view of the ancient city of Teotihuacán, the Pyramid of the Moon and the surrounding countryside is spectacular. In the photo below is the Zócalo or Plaza de Armas in the city of Cuernavaca which is about an hour bus ride south of Mexico City. It is an elegant city with an "eternal spring" climate. It has been a retreat from Mexico City since colonial times. We spent a couple of weeks here studying Spanish at the Center for Bilingual Multicultural Studies one of several language schools in Cuernavaca.
