In the photo above, Betty is enjoying the Plaza de Armas which is the heart of Cuzco. Upon our arrival at our hotel in Cuzco we were served Maté de coca tea. It is supposed to help the newly arrived visitor to acclimatize to the altitude. In the photo below native women with llamas seem to always appear on the steps of the Cathedral on the Plaza de Armas to have their pictures taken.
