In the photo above Betty is enjoying the Inca ruin at Ollantaytambo, located at the end of the Sacred Valley. This massive fortress is one of the few places where the Spanish lost a major battle during the Inca conquest. In the photo below is Aguas Calientes, about a four hour train ride from Cuzco and the nearest town to famous Machu Picchu. We stayed here overnight so that we could spend two days visiting Machu Picchu.
