In the summer of 2000 we spent a month and a half visiting in Europe. In June we traveled in Spain seeing the cities of Madrid, Salamanca, Barcelona and Segovia. In the photo above Betty is standing by the famous Bear and Strawberry Tree in the Puerta del Sol at the very center of Madrid. In the photo below, Betty is standing in the Plaza Mayor, a most famous square full of shops, restaurants and bars. On this day a stamp collectors convention was taking place in the middle of the Plaza.
