In the photo above is the Convento de San Esteban, one of Salamanca's magnificent monastic buildings. It is just across the street from the school we attended and we walked by it everyday. In the photo below is the Plaza Mayor of Salamanaca. It is the hub of Salmantine life. It seems like everyone passes through many times everyday. Our family home was just outside of the Plaza and we walked through the Plaza going to and from school and many other times during our visit. There was always sometime interesting happening here, day and night!
