In the photo above is the Plaza de España in Seville. It was built for the Spanish American Exhibition of 1929. The semi-circular canal gives the Square a romantic impression of Venice. In the photo below is the mountain town of Casares inland from the southern Spanish coast known as the Costa del Sol. It has been reported that it was named by Julius Caesar in 61 B.C.
