Northeast of Cáceres is the town of Guadalupe which is famous for the Monasterio de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe shown in the photo above. We enjoyed an informative tour of the interior including a fascinating museum. In the photo below is a birds eye view of the town of Guadalupe and the Monastery from a nearby mountain lookout point.
