The photo above is the ancient (13th century) Alcántara bridge in Toledo. The photo below is Santa Cruz del Valle de los Caidos (Valley of the Fallen). A church is built into the rock below the cross. It was constructed on orders of General Franco (who is buried in the church) in memory of the soldiers from both sides who died in the three years of Civil War.
