We also visited the nearby city of Trujillo. Yolanda, another university student, took us to this city which is the birth place of the famous Spanish conquistador, Francisco Pizarro. In the photo below, Marielos, Craig and Betty are enjoying a fabulous meal in an elegant restaurant inside the walled "Old City" of Cáceres called Torre de Sande. This special meal was a wonderful conclusion to our first visit to Cáceres and we hope to be able to return again next year to visit Marielos in this lovely city.
