We went to Southern California where we visited the Cabrillo National Monument in San Diego, the famous San Diego Zoo, Disneyland, and sites of Hollywood and Beverly Hills. In Burbank we took a tour of the NBC TV Studios and had the good fortune to see Jay Leno of the Tonight Show and movie star Tom Cruise walk by us! In the photo above Marielos met her friend Mickey Mouse at Disneyland and in the photo below she is in Frontierland where she rode on the sailing ship Columbia, shown in the background. We also enjoyed the hospitality of our friend Else Twamley at her home in Temecula which is about half-way between San Diego and Los Angeles.
